Igor Samolet is a documentary photographer from Russia (1984) Kotlas.
The lead character of his work is a person hopping, making mistakes. The main and recurrent theme of his creations are based on human relations.
Working on longterm projects and staying in personal intimate places allows the artist to reach the necessary level of truth and openness to see beyond the joyful part of life. Igor is not interested in the superficial reasons of his characters’ actions, but in the nature of their intimate cravings and wishes.
